Question How do I process my DME claims to NY Medicaid?
  Effective 11/01/2004, all DME claims need to be processed in paper and mailed directly to Medicaid. However, you may electronically check patient eligibility via eMedNY eXchange, Medicaid’s new method of file submission. To enroll in eMedNY eXchange you must Go to https://www.emedny.org/enroll and follow directions to set up account. Activate your inbox by calling eMedNY Provider Services at (800) 343-9000.

Question Why can’t I process my POS claim to EPIC?
  As of November 1, 2004 the EPIC online point-of-sale (POS) system will be replaced by a new system available in NCPDP Version 5.1. To continue to successfully submit POS claims to EPIC you must make the following changes to the insurance file in your pharmacy system.
