We are amongst the first vendors to have a complete integrated system to adopt Electronic Rx. We have two applications developed for our clients. The first is the interface to switches such as SureScripts, WebMD etc. and the other is a Web Site developed for the pharmacy.
Important Notice to NY Pharmacies – Expansion of Official NY State Prescription Program
Governor Pataki recently signed a law that will effectively combat prescription fraud and illegitimate drug use. The new law, which goes into full effect on April 19th, 2006, requires that all prescriptions written in New York -- for both controlled and non-controlled substances -- be issued on an official New York State prescription form. In order to accommodate the new law, MMS released version updates for both PrimeRxWin (v1.1.6.6) and PrimeRxDos (v6.71R1). The update CDs were mailed out to all pharmacies in NY on April 13th, 2006. The update adds a new field in the system which asks the pharmacist whether serial number is required or not. By default this option is turned ON for all Medicaid prescriptions.
